+ 2 Pincipals Motivation Programme

The Anchuthengu Principal, Mr. Silvester called me to tell that Fr. Joye James SJ was willing to help them provided they shift the venue to the Loyola campus. It seemed to be a good suggestion and i welcomed it whole heartedly. May be that they have to arrange for food from outside.

Again he called to tell that the principals are meeting Fr. Joy on Monday. That day being our Holy Week recollection and Chrism Mass, i told that i won't able to joing them and may be on a convenient shall visit him and tell him of the Corporate Management's interests and concerns.

Working even on Sunday, that too Palm Sunday!

Signed salary papers for the TTI and the B. Ed as the first days of April would be Holy Week Tridum days! Celine madam came here by 3.30 p.m. and got the papers signed as Sr. Nirmala came to open the office and the safe for her.

Afterwards, she was referring to the B. Ed college Principal and Staff tug! The Principal seem to be insecure among a seemingly unwelcome staff. This may be the reason that she seem to be defensive and at times offensive too! May be that some of the staff expected a promotion when the present principal was selected! From day first onwards, she might have felt unwelcome and that had a negative impact from that time onwards.

Thinng may not be easy, if things go on like this. I need to work it out and see that the college runs well in the coming academic year at least.

Transfer requests...

As the academic year is coming to an end, people are so busy with trying their best to get a place of their choice in the coming year. And they are approaching me in the office, at my parish and wherever they could get me or see me.

Am patiently listening to all of them and send them saying that i can't promise, but try to work out to their satisfaction, reminding them that my first and foremost concern is that of the students and schools in general.

These days i was talking about 'zero tolerance' in our office and in all our schoools with regard to their punctuality, discipline, and academic performances and also of their extra- curricular activities.

They need to re-dedicate themselves for the growth of our children and through them our community as a whole.

St. Vincent's H. S, Kaniyapuram

The teachers were not given salary for the month of February, as the D.E.O's P. A has diretcted the Head Master to ask the music teacher to reimburse her salary as her post was seemingly abolished! This looks rather odd as there was no reduction of divisions from that of last year! Even if the abolishion could stand in spite of our appeal, what right is there to with hold the salary of those teachers who worked there?

Asked the H. M to represent the D. E. O for the immediate disbursement of their salaries through his teahcers. Also asked Ms. Rani, the music teacher to give an undertaking to the effect that she will reimburse the amount as and when the appeal is decided against her favour and the department ask her to do so.

Hope, reason will reign in among the department people!

Schools, the real temple...

Temples were erected for gods!

They were treated sumptuously

and the priests too had their share

while the 'devotees' went hungry!

Even today people

don't dare to ask why!

That was how

they were taught,

and not to read and write!

Learning letters would

enable them to question

which neither the gods

nor their priests can digest!

Jesus said, "Know the truth

and truth will set you free."

Truth people will realize

by themselves once

they were given this

tool to open their

inner eyes.
